Couple TX, a Vietnam-based fashion retail brand, has launched its first T-shirt collection made with Nextevo’s pineapple leaf fibre (PALF)–blended material, marking the first commercial apparel launch in Vietnam using PALF.

The launch, which took place on 23 December 2025, features a PALF-blended fabric composed of 20% pineapple leaf fibre (PALF) and 80% cotton. The collection is available across approximately 40 Couple TX retail stores in Vietnam, as well as through the brand’s online sales channels.

This milestone represents the first knitted apparel product in Vietnam developed using Nextevo PALF, demonstrating how agricultural by-products such as pineapple leaves can be transformed into wearable textile materials suitable for everyday apparel.

Pineapple leaf fibre is derived from post-harvest pineapple leaves that would otherwise be discarded or burned. Through Nextevo’s fibre processing and cottonisation technology, the fibres are refined into ready-to-spin PALF, enabling compatibility with conventional cotton spinning and knitting systems.

The launch reflects fashion brands’ increasing attention to material choices and their collaboration with innovative companies such as Nextevo to integrate waste-derived natural fibres into commercial apparel, reinforcing the role of material innovation in supporting more responsible and circular textile practices.
